The students valued leaning the basics of Body Language by understanding the meaning of different expressions: gestures and postures. They accepted that following the Law is not just a choice, but it’s a moral duty.

They learnt that keeping calm in any odd situation is a way to life: observed the difference between responding instead of reacting. A few students were keen to know, how they can help their father in his business in small town.

"If you don't know where you're going, you may miss it when you get there". Prowisdom Growth conducted a skill development session on 26th May, 2018 at Sanskar International School, Bhuna, Haryana for class IXth & Xth.

The students accepted the fact that a world class institution doesn’t make you smarter by learning “Swimmers Body Illusion”, on the contrary they only give admissions to smarter people. The students learned different types of Handshakes & their impact.

They played a warmer activity to develop Mind Power. They understood the value of Active Listening by an experiential learning activity. They accepted the need to build upon Essential Life Skills by doing what they can, where they are with & whatever resources they have.

To help their mother in kitchen, by helping their father in his business through their knowledge and skills. They learnt a few techniques to manage their social media presence and ways to get inspired by watching positive content such as “Ted Talks”.

Empowering Students at Schools, through skill development

"Everyone’s in Human Resources. We are all paid to develop the talents of the people we work with". Prowisdom Growth conducted a skill development session on 19th May, 2018 at Mount Litera Zee School, Tohana, Haryana for Teachers & Students.

The students & teachers, valued knowing the Impact of Body Language in communicating with people, they accepted that they need to demonstrate positive body language & observe what's not being said in a communication.

They learnt about the different body postures & their meaning to an audience, the importance of Tone of Voice as a communicator. New ways of engaging the students through innovative icebreakers.

The students valued learning good habits as a global citizen including the most valuable " Active Listening ". Students shared their point of view on the importance of moral values. They learnt through an example, the difference between “Equality and Equity”.

"Your daily behavior broadcasts your truest beliefs". Prowisdom Growth conducted a skill awareness session for the students at St.Joseph International School, Tohana, Haryana on 22nd May, 2018.

The students played a few games to understand the message, that the following skills need to be learnt & practiced enough to make them a part of their active lifestyle. 1. Value of Team work and listening skills 2. Benefits of writing down their goals 3. How to choose a career through Purpose 4. Speaking up & voicing their point of view 5. Building a vision on potential, beyond the visible dots or weaknesses. Being Intelligent is way beyond just scoring high marks.

Yes, they need to score good marks but basis an understanding of the subject, context and how to think rather than how to memorize content.

“Life doesn’t get Easier, you just get Stronger”. Prowisdom Growth conducted a skill development session on 15th May, 2018 at St. Joseph International School, Tohana for class XIth & XIIth.

The students learnt that in today's world a student should build a complete personality where an academic score is one part of it. The students valued analyzing each activity as a part of an experiential learning program.

Through the activity “Pass the ball” they learnt the importance of collaboration & teamwork in one’s life. Through the speaker's mannerisms they learnt Etiquette, How to shake hands, Positive Body language & Image Management essentials.

They learnt how to build their listening skills through an exercise of "Onion Ring ". They agreed to the fact that respect can be only earned & not demanded, you should always respect a wise mind, irrespective of their ages.

"Nobody is too busy, it's just a matter of priorities." Prowisdom Growth conducted a skill development Program on 27th April 2018 at Adarsh Public School, Tohana, Haryana for senior school students.

To develop basic leadership skills, the students valued learning the first good habit of effective "Time Management ". They shouldn't say, I don't have time for what I want to do. Some of the students shared their academic and career goals.

They learnt how to measure, analyze and commit time to what matters to them in the long term, medium term and short term. Each action they do or choose not to do, has a consequence for which they need to become accountable to their own self.

Prowisdom Growth conducted the 1st of its series of Entrepreneurship skill development Program for colleges, in collaboration with E-Cell, IIT Bombay on 28th August, 2018 at K.K.Wagh Education Societys College of Engineering, Hirabai Haribai Vidyanagari, Panchavati, Nashik 422003

The students valued learning the 9 components of a Business Model Canvas, Idea Generation Techniques, Team Formation, Branding their Startup, Unique Selling Proposition, the value of Patent & Trademark, Research, Taking the initial steps to begin the startup journey by converting an Idea into a commercially viable revenue model, the role of Finance & the value of building up persuasion skills.

The session was build up with context from Vanky Kataria & Pradeep Mokal who inspired the audience with their life experiences & business acumen. The academic leaders added value to the event, with their intent & the purpose to make a positive impact to their students.

Prowisdom Growth conducted a student interaction at Guru Nanak College,Budhlada, Punjab on 27th August 2018 on "Career Awareness & the Importance of Employability Skills".

The interaction began with a shared reflection on the Purpose of our life, understanding how happiness plays an important role while choosing any Career choice, to achieve meaningful results - the journey starts with self-introspection & self-realization of one's strengths and development areas.

The students learnt through a demonstration & role play that in an interview or an interaction with people the message can be reflected in a better presentable way through their Body Language & Tone of Voice. They were very keen to understand how a response can be changed to a given stimulus.

Prowisdom Growth conducted a skill development session on 23rd August, 2018 at Vidya Rattan College for Women, District Sangrur, Punjab to empower the students to align their efforts towards their livelihood goals.

The students shared their professional aspirations & their need to learn the valued skills to connect their Education with Livelihood: Take the first step: Start taking an action, Focus on People Management, Effective Communication & Listening.

As an Entrepreneur they need to focus on their Customer Experience & Employee Delight, how to leverage Body Language & Tone of Voice to enhance the Impact of their Communication.

The students reflected their learning experience through an extempore speech, & agreed to engage in a sustainable manner with our team for sustainable skill development & Mentoring.

Everyone who participated was a winner as they enjoyed the learning experience & went back with an immense learning, constructive suggestions & a clear direction to chart their academic journey forward, with a much higher level of self-confidence & a belief in team work.

Empowering Youth by Skill Development & Mentoring

"Literacy is a bridge from misery to hope". - Kofi Annan. Prowisdom Growth conducted a session at Krishna Group of Institutes, Village Ralli, District Mansa, Punjab on 8th August, 2018 to motivate students to read & to realize "The Importance & Benefits of Reading".

The college students participated in a Quiz on a combination of Current affairs in their State, Politics, Cricket & the Indian Economy. The students those who had read newspapers regularly, were able to communicate confidently & answer questions, the rest were hesitant (not because of language).

This activity helped them to reflect & understand the value of reading. They understood that by reading (books, newspapers, and relevant online content) they can become well versed, knowledgeable & come across as an articulate & an educated person.

Reading as a habit helps in multiple spheres of life. Through regular Reading, they can build the content to speak in any domain, become more confident as a student & get to expand their mental horizon & possibilities in their life ahead. As they say, "A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies".

"A student is more than just a Test score. " Prowisdom Growth conducted a Skill Development session on 8th August,2018 at Greenland Day Boarding Public School, Bareta, Punjab for class VIIth students on "Building Self-Confidence & Image Management".

The students learnt skills to build up their Self-Confidence: Correct use of their Body Language, the 4 Components of an Image, Integrity while answering in Examinations, Speaking up to express their point of view, Persistence in completing a school task, Self-assessment & measurement of their academic progress, studying to learn a concept more than just to pass an exam, their need to building up their vocabulary & the benefits of collaborating instead of competing with each other.

Through Extempore speech they learnt that an effective communication is a combination of an appropriate tone of Voice, correct Body Language & choice of right words; they understood the different types of an eye contact with context, which they can use to improve their communication, stage presence & confidence.

Team Prowisdom Growth conducted a skill development session on 6th Aug,2018 at Jasmer Singh Jaijee Degree college, Distt. Sangrur, Punjab.

To become Employable in 2019, the students valued learning that getting an academic degree/diploma is not the only credential which would get them a Job; they would need to demonstrate their skills & communicate what value they bring to the Job.

To manage their Time, they should reflect upon their day's activities w.r.t time management tracker. To become knowledgeable & a person people respect, they need to invest their time in Reading & Writing, related to their upcoming profession or Industry.

As a practice to improve their Confidence & Communication, they analysed how they were communicating through their Body Vs How they should leverage their Body Language to build Trust. They understood that they should aim big but start small. Starting the journey is the key to achieving their goals.

Team Prowisdom Growth conducted a series of Skill Development Meetups at Haryana & Punjab : on 30th July 2018 at National College of Nursing Barwala; on 1st Aug 2018 at Guru Harikrishan Public School, Patran & on 2nd Aug 2018 at Colonel Public School, Sangrur.

The students valued reflecting upon the Purpose of getting Educated so that they enjoy this journey first, Goal Setting by writing down their Goals, utilizing their most important resource of Time, the positive Impact of getting up early, nuances of Public Speaking.

They understood the need to read & speak in order to have content & confidence, how to overcome stage fear through experiential activities.

Through an awareness of their Body Language they reflected upon the types of handshakes, the importance of eye contact, gestures, the components to deliver an effective message & the role a Mentor can play in their journey to achieve their goals.

A student Mandeep Kaur said: “We learned how to be confident enough with our body in front of others ".

Prowisdom Growth conducted a skill development session on 23rd July, 2018 at Gurukul Convent Sr Sec School, Kahangarh, Bareta, Punjab to empower them to achieve their academic goals & to improve their communication skills.

The students valued leaning the difference between Education (Academics) & the complementary Skills valuable to practice during their student life, they shared their aspirations which needed to be connected with a role model or a Mentor.

They understood the relevance to inspire children younger to them through their habits and conduct (to reduce negative influence of substance abuse); they enjoyed the extempore speech to introduce them in a unique manner & learnt how to develop self confidence through Body Language.

Communication happened two ways, although in Punjabi, Hindi & English. Language is not a barrier in communication, nor should it be a perceived barrier for a student's skill or talent. Be who you are, & be good at it.
